If It Ain't Broke, Don't Fix It
A while back, I won some Addi-Turbo Lace Needles off e-bay.  I didn't pay much, less than retail including shipping.  I had heard/read great things about these Addi-Turbos.  Two nights ago, I case on for a new pair of socks.  Toe-up, two at a time done magic loop.  As soon as I opened the Turbos, I noticed one of the needles was bent.  A bad omen maybe?  ;-)  I attempted to bend it more straight.  I'm not sure that I succeeded, but it's atleast usable.  I cast on the socks, using some ThankEwe yarn I bought off Etsy a while back.  I totally love the yarn.  Even like the pattern.  What I don't like is, picking up a yarn over and a slipped stitch at the same time with the Turbos.  Compared to the Knit Picks circulars, they are dull.  Very dull.  I wish I had just stuck with the KP circs.  I guess I should be of the "If it ain't broke don't fix it" camp, eh?  I will have a finished pair of socks to show you in the next day or two.  No, not the socks I just cast on.  The socks I started in September   when I went to see the Yarn Harlot.  We're off to the American Girl Bistro in Atlanta tomorrow.  Should be great fun!
