If It Ain't Broke, Don't Fix It
A while back, I won some Addi-Turbo Lace Needles off e-bay. I didn't pay much, less than retail including shipping. I had heard/read great things about these Addi-Turbos. Two nights ago, I case on for a new pair of socks. Toe-up, two at a time done magic loop. As soon as I opened the Turbos, I noticed one of the needles was bent. A bad omen maybe? ;-) I attempted to bend it more straight. I'm not sure that I succeeded, but it's atleast usable. I cast on the socks, using some ThankEwe yarn I bought off Etsy a while back. I totally love the yarn. Even like the pattern. What I don't like is, picking up a yarn over and a slipped stitch at the same time with the Turbos. Compared to the Knit Picks circulars, they are dull. Very dull. I wish I had just stuck with the KP circs. I guess I should be of the "If it ain't broke don't fix it" camp, eh? I will have a finished pair of socks to show you in the next day or two. No, not the socks I just cast on. The socks I started in September when I went to see the Yarn Harlot. We're off to the American Girl Bistro in Atlanta tomorrow. Should be great fun!
